Swingerz helps tennis and pickleball players in Austin, TX find groups, share when they're free, and land on matches instead of endless texting. This page explains what we collect to make that work, how it's used, and how to control it.

What we collect

Account & profile. Your name, age, ZIP code, and the phone number or email address you sign in with. Other players see your display name and general area — never your exact address, phone number, or email.

Play information. The sports you play (tennis and/or pickleball), your skill level (NTRP rating for tennis, a skill band for pickleball), your standing weekly schedule, and any one-off availability windows you post.

Groups & matches. The groups you create, join, or request to join; the matches you propose, confirm, or decline; and the messages you send inside a match or group thread.

Basic technical data. Device and app information we need to keep Swingerz running and diagnose problems — things like app version and crash reports.

What we don't collect We don't track your precise GPS location — your ZIP code is all we use to show you nearby players and courts. We don't collect payment information: Swingerz doesn't book courts, charge fees, or process payments of any kind. And we don't run ads or share your data with ad networks.

How we use it

To match you with players and groups by skill level, schedule, and general location
To show you relevant open availability and group activity nearby
To let you communicate with players you're matched or grouped with
To keep the app secure and working, and to fix problems when they come up
To respond when you contact us, and to enforce our Terms & Conditions — including removing accounts that put other players at risk

What other players can see

Your display name, general area (ZIP code or neighborhood, not a street address), sport and skill level, and whatever schedule or availability you choose to post. Group admins can see membership and remove members. Nobody sees your phone number, email address, or exact age unless you choose to share it yourself, like in a message.

How we share it

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with advertisers. We work with a small number of service providers — for things like hosting the app and sending sign-in codes — who only use your information to provide that service to us. We'll disclose information if we're legally required to, or to protect the safety of our players.

Your choices

You can review and update most of your profile information right in the app. You can delete your account and its data at any time from Profile → Delete account. If you'd rather we do it for you, email us and we'll take care of it.

Age

Swingerz is meant for players 18 and up. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone younger, and we'll delete it if we learn we have.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information. No method of storing or transmitting data is 100% secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security — but we work to keep it that way.

Changes to this policy

If we make a meaningful change to how we handle your information, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, for anything significant, let you know directly.
